Sweet Bitterness

Bittersweet
that's how it was for me
It's funny how the spiritually blind can see
all my desires but actually
only time will tell who I'm supposed to be
Now then
my brain wants to fight
my mouth let go of
what my mind kept tight
And all I recite
is telling the sights
from falling from cerebral heights
Even
though time has passed
the future seems like translucent glass
eyes come across raging fast
nonpursuit leaves my heart in a cast.
